Job Opening for Database Administrator
Database Administrator is needed to perform the following duties:
- Working with a database requires the administrator to understand complex systems, and how a minor error can cause major problems.
- Take care of all the problems regarding the company database and secure all company data.
· Support the operations, maintenance and integration of information, automation, and communications systems of the Pharmacy facilities including interfaces with networks, local host systems database, and remote system databases.
- Performs strategic planning relative to these databases.
- Assist the Pharmacy staff to make the data already available to the benefit of the patients and the pharmacy.
· Maintain Database Access to all BestRx users. Analyze and Recommend Improvements related to the BestRx. Analyze Impact of Database Changes to the Business Database
- Provide protected access to Audit and request Databases related to the third-party insurance companies so that confidentiality is not violated.
- Identify database requirements by interviewing customers; analyzing department applications, programming, and operations; evaluating existing systems and designing proposed systems. If needed, develop a new database to fit in the customer needs to benefit the pharmacy customers.
- Develop and Test Methods to Synchronize Data and Secure Network Structures. Setup Safety Measures to Recover Data. Backup and Restore Data. Debug Database Issues on LiveData related to the claims transmissions.
- Recommends solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, database security, data back-up, and recovery specifications.
- Ensure Data is Secure, Databases Run Efficiently and that the Platform is available for use.
- Extract Live Data, have back up set in place for everyday use and analyze data every day to see if the database is functioning properly, Prevent Data Loss, Recover Lost Data and Repair Program Bugs
- Install revised or new systems by proposing specifications and flowcharts recommending optimum access techniques, coordinating installation requirements.
- Maintain database performance by calculating optimum values for database parameters; implementing new releases; completing maintenance requirements; evaluating computer operating systems and hardware products.
- Working with day to day with the on hardware and software configuration, monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting. Use networking analysis tools such as NMAP.
- Preparing reports on data modeling as per requirement using the R programing.
- Prepare users by conducting training as guideline of HIPPA; providing information; resolving problems
Bachelor's Degree is required in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology.
